Okay, let's talk money. When was the last time you checked your bank balance?
HA! When I spoke to you last … so 2 or 3 months ago? Gosh that’s awful.
How have you learnt what you know about money and finance?
Through my family, growing up my dad owned a limited company. It taught me money = stress and it was best to not talk about it. I also learnt that accountants do not bode well to crumpled up receipts slammed on their desk at tax returns meetings.
When was the last time you had an open conversation about money? With who and why?
I talk to my partner about money, he could talk about it all day. It makes me feel sick so I avoid it at all costs (no pun intended). I don’t think I've ever had a deep convo about finances.
Has money ever been an issue between you and someone close to you?
Oh yeah! It’s why I don't ‘lend’ money anymore, if someone close to me is in need and I have the means to give x amount of money to them I will give it as a gift of sorts and not expect anything back.
If you could talk to your younger self about money, what would you say?
GIRL! Money is energy, it’s fluid and just an exchange of services. Take away all emotion you have with it and see it as a fluctuating number.
What is the biggest investment you’ve ever made in yourself / your business? Was it worth it?
Coaches. I recently spent £200.00 for a 3 month course which is proving to be worth £200.00 for a 3 month course. It’s amazing, but broad and going over topics I know. I scrimp on myself because I feel like I’m not worth it, AT THE MOMENT. This is changing.
